What is MebCut?
MebCut is a cutting-list optimizer for sheet materials: plywood, MDF, chipboard, melamine and the like. You enter your parts, it lays them out on your sheets with as little waste as possible, then hands you a step-by-step cutting plan, a PDF and part labels.
Is it free to use?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit: up to 20 parts per project, 3 AI photo scans a month, the full cutting assistant and PDF export. Pro removes the limits for €9 a month or €90 a year.
What materials and cut types does it support?
Any sheet material you set up, with its own sheet size, thickness, grain and edge trim. Layouts use guillotine cuts (straight, edge-to-edge), which is exactly what panel saws, table saws and track saws make, and account for your saw kerf. ABS edge banding is tracked per edge.
Does it work on mobile?
It was built phone-first. MebCut runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens full-screen like an app. Keep the cutting assistant open right next to the saw.
Can I try it before I pay?
